Baghdad Bob shows up as Dick Cheney

Wolf Blizter interviewed Vice President Dick (Shoot-em-in-the-face) Cheney, largely about the Iraq War on CNN today. Cheney said that the successes in Iraq far outweight the problems. When asked if the messed-up war had created a blacklash within the Republican party, he said he did not accept the premise of the question.

He said it was "hogwash" that blunders may have hurt the administration's credibility on Iraq and led members of Congress on both sides of the aisle to question President Bush's plan to send more troops to Baghdad.

Remember Baghdad Bob denying that American troops were anywhere near Baghdad during the invasion and insisting that Iraqi forces were vanquishing them? Cheney apparently studied him thoroughly to put on this kind of performance
